Objective
As the digital extension for the World Series of Warzone product, the objective is to create a digital experience for both participant and viewer to learn, sign up, participant, and track progress through each WSOW stage.
Role
As digital product lead, I worked along side the emerging product team and creative agency Arsfutura to conceptualize the digital product plan, strategy, prioritization, and execution.
Key Highlights
Components developed through this product set a feature standard for our other Esports digital products focusing on user participation and sign ups.

The Launch of WSOW
The initial launch of the WSOW focused on program communication and participant funnel.

Qualifier Tournaments
With 4 key Qualifier opportunities, feature development included a participant funnel highlighting tournament details and sign ups.

Team Captains
Unique team captain format required an evolution of components to track draft pool, draft picks, team results and standings.

Multi Channel Viewing Experience
Live video player featured a channel switcher between all 5 captains and hero feed for the user to switch between main feeds while earning viewership incentives.

2nd year of WSOW
From initial product launch, feature development focused on scaling support for the number of events offered moving away from stacked cards to swim lanes.

How to Compete
With the first ever in-game playlist to qualifier stage, the addition of a “How to Compete” block boosted user sign ups from our site to the competition platform to 100K+ user sign ups. Followed by 500K+ user sign ups in 2023 for Stage 1.

Tournaments
Feature development also focused on support multi-competition formats moving from captain/draft focus to open trios squad format.
